August 23, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., the Hébert Family Association will meet at the Vermilion Parish Library in Abbeville to begin planning the family reunion for Grand Réveil Acadien/Great Acadian Awakening, October, 2025.  The Hébert family will combine their reunion with the Guidry and Breaux families.

L’ Association des Hébert du Monde (the Hébert Family Association) was formed to organize the Hébert Family Reunion during the 1999 Congrès Mondial Acadien-Louisiane.  During the Congrès, the Hébert Reunion was held in Abbeville, with ceremonies at Magdalen Place, Magdalen Square and St. Mary Magdalen Church.  The Hébert Family Association will hold its annual meeting and election of officers of the Board of Directors at the meeting on August 23 at 9:00 a.m., at the Vermilion Parish Library in Abbeville.
